Full List of Old Galaxy Devices to Receive Samsung’s AI Features
Samsung plans to roll out the latest AI features to older Galaxy devices in the coming months. The company introduced Google-powered AI features with the Galaxy S24 series last month, and people are waiting to see if other Samsung devices will support these features.
Google offers its Gemini Nano AI model, which is powerful enough to run on premium smartphones. Samsung and Google have been working on projects and platforms recently, and after WearOS, this is the latest association between the brands.
Samsung AI features are coming to these Galaxy devices
Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the devices that will get the new AI features, but thanks to tipster Mishaal Rahman, we have a good idea of the Galaxy models that will be able to use the AI technology.
– Samsung Galaxy S23
– Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus
– Samsung Galaxy 23 Ultra
– Samsung Galaxy 23 FE
– Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
– Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 collection
The devices mentioned here seem like the expected lineup that can support and provide users with the best AI experience. We have to wait for Samsung to officially confirm the timelines and if they will get AI features like Circle search, live translation, note assist, photo assist and more.
The AI features provided by Google’s model are currently only available on the Pixel 8 and Galaxy S24 models. It has been mentioned that other brands will also get these AI features, but only after the new Pixel 9 series is released later this year. It will be interesting to see if these AI features need a premium chipset to get the best results, or if Google might open up the arena to mid-range devices as well, making them more accessible to even more people.
